This tool distributes announcements that are relevant to African American Baha’is living in Oregon and Washington, by way of email.
As we learn how to best use this tool for our purposes, let’s be mindful about what is being shared to help us remember to avoid criticism, personal attacks, and politically-motivated topics of any kind. Since this is not a list for discussions, what can be posted are simple announcements relevant to our service to the Cause of the Blessed Beauty.
- Image files (ie .jpg, .png, etc)
- PDF files (.pdf, etc)
- Plain text files (.txt, etc)
Attachment of these filetypes is not allowed:
- Word processing documents of any kind (.doc, .docx, .odt, etc)
- Spreadsheets of any kind (.xls, .xlsx, .ods, etc)
- Powerpoint or other presentations of any kind
- Calendar files (.ics, etc)
For security reasons announcements from sites like Evently, Eventbrite, CEvent and others should not be submitted.
If you know of Bahá'ís of African descent who live in the NW and want to be added to this list please have them send an email with request to join to
nw-bahais-of-african-descent-request@bahai.email . The request needs to include name, email and Baha'i ID (if available). Once subscribed, they will be able to send and receive emails to this list. Members of this list need to be adult Bahá'ís in good standing, or Friends of the Faith recommended to join.
